Skywatchers are preparing to see one of the biggest and brightest moons of the year will rise on Wednesday (August 30). Contrary to its name, the moon is not actually blue in colour but is referred to as per the definitions, which state the second of two full moons in a calendar month and its distance from Earth at the time of the full moon.   The Super Blue Moon 2023 is set to be seen on the night of August 30 and early morning of August 31. This comes as the month of August was full of extravagant celestial sights.
